Q: What are your qualifications?

I have 30 years of experience as a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a highly regarded and designated position that requires extensive training, experience, and rigorous exam competency. I also am a Certified Financial Planner(CFP), a qualification that formally reflects my expertise in financial planning, taxes, retirement, insurance, college funding, and other monetary areas.  Both of these credentials necessitate periodic ethics examinations and require the highest level of fiduciary standards.

Q: What is your pricing structure?

At Kawasaki Financial, we are a fee-only financial planning firm.  You have three options for payment of fees as follows and not mutually exclusive: 1) Monthly Retainer 2) Hourly 3) Percentage of assets under management.

Q: What makes you different from other financial firms?

I strive to mutually develop and monitor personalized financial plans with you that will provide the greatest opportunity to achieve your goals and dreams. Your financial success and satisfaction are my number one priorities, first and always.

Q: How will we meet?

Depending on your location and preferences, we can either meet in person or online through video conference.

Q: What is your investment strategy?

For the most part, I believe in long term investments that emphasize patience and discipline, but realize that there will be obligations that have varying time horizons requiring different investment vehicles and allocations based on a client’s unique situation.

Q: What do you mostly invest my funds in?

I believe that Index Funds most closely align with our investment objectives and philosophy.  However, I am more than willing to work with clients that have a strong conviction to another type of investment.

Q: Do you diversify my funds? How often will you rebalance my account?

I believe that your assets should be invested and diversified across the spectrum of asset classes, dependent on your risk tolerance and time horizons.  These allocations should be analyzed at a minimum of every six months and portfolios rebalanced accordingly, if deemed material and cost effective at that time.
